Terms
Terms of Service
Last updated October 14, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Rebel Ventures, LLC, an Illinois limited liability company doing business as CollegeOS (“CollegeOS,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. We've tried to keep them readable.
Your account
You must be at least 13 to use CollegeOS. If you're under 18, you confirm a parent or guardian agrees to these terms, including any purchase. Keep your sign-in secure — you're responsible for activity in your account.
What CollegeOS is — and isn't
CollegeOS is a planning tool that organizes your classes, calendar, study time and reminders, and answers questions using your course materials and official school sources. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by your school unless we say so. AI answers, imported dates and suggestions can be wrong or incomplete — always confirm deadlines, policies and requirements with your official course materials, instructors and school. You're responsible for your own academic work and for following your school's academic integrity rules.
Free trial, plans and automatic renewal
- New accounts get 30 days of full access free, with no card required.
- The Monthly plan is $9.99 per month. When you subscribe, your first month is free; on day 31 you're charged $9.99 and every month after, unless you cancel before the free month ends.
- The Yearly plan is $59.99 per year, charged when you subscribe and on each yearly anniversary.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.
- Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax, VAT or similar taxes may be added where required. If we ever change prices, we'll tell you at least 30 days in advance and the change will apply at your next renewal.
- If you switch between monthly and yearly, the change happens right away and you're charged or credited the prorated difference.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. If a payment fails, we'll retry and let you know; access may pause if payment isn't completed.
Cancellation and refunds
- Cancel anytime in Settings → Your plan → Manage or cancel. It takes a minute and there's no fee.
- When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again.
- Cancel during the free month and you won't be charged at all.
- Payments aren't refundable for partial periods, except where required by law. If something went wrong — like a charge you didn't expect — email us within 14 days and we'll make it right.
- After your plan ends, your data stays saved so you can come back. You can delete it anytime.
Your content
You own what you upload and create. You give us permission to store, process and display it only to run CollegeOS for you and the people you choose to share with. Only upload materials you have the right to use. Our handling of your data is described in the Privacy Policy.
Fair use
Don't misuse CollegeOS: no breaking the law, harassing others, accessing other people's accounts, scraping or overloading the service, or using it to cheat on graded work. We may suspend accounts that do.
Connected services
If you connect Canvas, Google or another service, their own terms also apply. We aren't responsible for outages or changes in those services.
Disclaimers and limits
CollegeOS is provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, we don't guarantee it will be error-free or always available, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as a missed deadline or grade). Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Ending your account
You can stop using CollegeOS and delete your account at any time in Settings → Your data. We may end or suspend accounts that break these terms, with notice where reasonable.
Changes, law and contact
We may update these terms; if changes are important we'll notify you before they take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, except where your local consumer law says otherwise. Questions: Lisandra@myrebelventures.com.
